What is a pool?
A pool is a group of people who share their resources amongst each other, in this case lottery tickets. If someone's lottery ticket wins, the winnings will get divided evenly amongst everyone in the pool.
Is there a fee to use LottoTub?
Yes LottoTub charges a small fee to join a pool (usually between $1-$3) depending on the size of the pool.
How many lottery tickets can I purchase?
We have removed the option to allow people from selecting how many tickets they can purchase and have set fixed number of tickets that can be purchased so that everyone has the same amount of tickets as everyone else in their pool. Not only is this more fair to everyone that joins, but it also makes it easier to split winnings amongst everyone.
How much are the lottery tickets on your website?
We purchase lottery tickets on your behalf for the price they cost in the store, Mega Millions lottery tickets cost $2 each, Power Ball lottery tickets also cost $2 each. We never charge extra for tickets.
Can I create my own pools?
At the moment we are not allowing the creation of pools by the public. Please check back at a later time for any changes we may make to this rule.
How do I get my lottery tickets after I join a pool?
We will email you photos of the all tickets in the pool on the day of the drawing, usually between 3pm and 6pm pacific time.
When are lottery drawings held?
Mega Millions' drawings are held Tuesday and Friday nights at 11pm eastern time. Power Ball drawings are on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 11pm eastern time.
How do I pay for my lottery tickets?
Currently we are only accepting PayPal.
How do I get paid if my pool wins?
We will deposit any winnings under $600 into the PayPal account you used to purchase your tickets. PayPal allows you to transfer money directly to your bank account free of charge or you may request a check from them for a $1.50 fee. More info on PayPal here.

What happens if one of the tickets in my pool hits the jackpot?
By joining LottoTub you are agreeing that after all taxes and fees are paid off, winnings will be split evenly amongst everyone in your pool. Winning lottery tickets will be cashed out in the state where the winning ticket were purchased. You are also agreeing that winnings will be cashed out in one single lump sum transaction.
